Materials Bank

We have set up a Materials Bank. This is an easy and accessible way for anyone who would like to partner SWAYAM SIDDHA in its mission beyond just monetary support. All materials, in good or working condition, are welcome.These include:

:: Educational material like notebooks, pens/pencils, erasers and other stationery items.

:: Health care material like first-aid kits.

:: Recreational materials such as storybooks, comics (preferably in the local language), toys etc.

:: Other items such as blankets, durries, sheets, fabrics (cotton/woolen) etc.

Monetary support

Our funding comes mainly from donations. We shall gratefully accept any contribution you wish to make. Cheques/Demand Drafts should be drawn in favour of “SWAYAM SIDDHA”

Under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act 1976 we are entitled to receive international support.

The initiatives below are special projects as well as components of our core program.

Support a child’s education for one year	Rs3600/-
Support a child’s education and health care for one year	Rs4800/-
Support a child’s education, health and nutrition for one year	Rs.6000/-
Support a physically/mentally challenged child for one year	Rs.8000/-
Outings to parks/museums for 50 children	Rs.15000/-
Sponsor a health worker/teacher for one year	Rs.24000/-
Support a non-formal education centre for one year	Rs.30000/-
Sponsor a seminar/counseling camp for the youth	Rs.40000/-
3-day overnight camp for 100 children	Rs.50000/-
Art/Music/Theatre in education workshop for 50 children	Rs.50000/-
Health camp for the community	Rs.50000/-
Training/support to 5 teachers(primary)	Rs.75000/-

NOTE: All donations are exempt from Income Tax under Section 80-G of the Income Tax Act,1961.

Please avoid making a donation of less than Rs100/- as the processing costs make it unviable for us.
